My first Hardcover is available now!
The Stake Presents: Jessamy collected edition with hardcover and new content is available now on Kickstarter! Download issue #1 here too!
Good morning!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Weekend here in the US and a happy weekend in general for those of you who are abroad!
I need to update you all more, I know, especially with all the fun stuff that’s brewing…
As I prepare for Heroes Con next month, I’ve been very busy lately with projects, new and old, both writing, editing, and publishing (something new and big is coming!).
As the summer approaches, I’ll have plenty of announcements, but today I’d like to discuss the new hardcover collection of Stake Presents: Jessamy - Château de Sang et des Fleurs !
This is the culmination of 4 years of hard work with Francesca Fantini on art, Joel Rodriguez on letters and design, Nicole D’Anria on edits, and me writing.
We’ve added 12 new pages of story to go with the complete 75-page story from issues 1-3.
For this edition we’ve added a nice frame to Francesca’s original #1 cover that I love so much:
We are live on Kickstarter now and offering early backers a free copy of the new 12 page story as a standalone comic (just pay $1 shipping added on). The story includes this awesome cover by Caio Cacau:
A must have for collectors or completionists who have the other issues!
We also added a new version of Issue #1 from rising star artist Miki Okazaki for this campaign:
This is available on the campaign to purchases in all the normal ways offer (trade dress, virgin, foil, and metal)!
Be sure to join us early and get your copy!
You can also snag a copy of issue #1 as a free download on the campaign page!
We’ll be running that campaign for the next month and then get into…
That’s right, everyone’s favorite digital clown is back and he has found his way into Joel Rodriguez’s Dusk County!
More details to come, but we will be trying a joint campaign on Backerkit for their Comictopia event this summer.
Lots of great stuff coming!
Are you coming to Heroes? Maybe San Diego Comic Con?
Let me know, I’d love to see you!
Back soon!
David
